Your pool deck
shouldn't burn your feet.
We resurface concrete with a textured, heat-reflective coating. Cooler underfoot, safer when wet, and finished in the color you pick. Most residential decks are done in two to three days.

Drag to compare. Same deck, Indianapolis.
Manufacturer-tested reduction versus bare concrete on in-ground slabs. Lighter colors perform best.
Most residential decks are cleaned, coated, and sealed across two to three days.
Tinted with a compatible exterior color, matched at your local paint store.
What it fixes
Concrete has two problems. This solves both.
Bare concrete around a pool gets hot enough to hurt, and slick enough to be a real hazard when it is wet. Tearing it out and repouring costs many times what coating it does, and you end up with the same two problems in a different color.
- Textured, slip-resistant finish that is still comfortable on bare feet
- Goes over bare concrete or an existing knockdown topping
- Fills hairline cracks and covers stains, patches, and years of wear
- Sealed with a clear nano-particle sealer for UV and pool chemical protection
- Holds up to patio furniture and Indiana freeze-thaw cycles
The process
Three steps, start to finish.
Clean and prep
We deep clean and etch the slab, then fill hairline cracks and patch any spalling so the coating bonds properly and lays flat.
Coat
Two roller-applied coats in the color you picked, with cure time between them, worked to a consistent texture.
Seal
A clear sealer locks in the color and protects against sun, pool chemicals, and everyday traffic.

Common questions
Answers before you call.
If yours is not here, the full FAQ has more, or just call and ask.
How much does pool deck resurfacing cost?
Price depends on square footage, the condition of the existing slab, and how much crack repair and patching is needed first. Send photos and an approximate square footage and we will give you a number. We do not charge for estimates and we do not use high-pressure quoting.
How long does it take?
Most residential pool decks take two to three days from start to finish. Day one is cleaning, prep, and crack repair. Coating and sealing follow, with cure time between coats. Larger or badly damaged slabs that need significant patching can run longer. We give you a realistic schedule before we start rather than an optimistic one.
How much cooler does it actually get?
The manufacturer's testing shows a reduction of up to 38 percent versus bare concrete on in-ground slabs. The real number on your deck depends heavily on the color you choose, since lighter colors reflect more heat. We will show you a side by side reading on your own slab if you want one.
Can you coat over my existing Kool Deck or knockdown topping?
Usually yes, as long as the existing topping is still bonded to the slab and not delaminating. If sections are lifting or hollow, those areas have to be removed and patched first. We check for this during the estimate.
Will it be slippery when wet?
No. The finish is textured specifically for slip resistance around water, while staying comfortable enough to walk on barefoot. That combination is the main reason the system exists.
Ready for a number?
Send a few photos and your approximate square footage. Most quotes go out the same day, and there is no charge for an estimate.
